Davidson House

Davidson House was founded in the summer of 1999 in a lovely rural setting just at the edge of the heritage town of Perth.

We have seven bedrooms, six for residents and one as a respite space. The habitants share cooking and living spaces as well as a a screened and open deck which overlook the grounds

This comfortable environment is enhanced by total wheelchair accessibility and an extensive system of overhead track lifts. The two bathrooms are also equipped with overhead track lifting as are those sleeping areas that require it.

To aid them when necessary the residents Davidson Houseare attended 24 hours a day by a dedicated professional staff who support them in a safe and comfortable environment.

Respite

For family care givers who need some support, or other community members who may need temporary assistance, we provide a respite space. This service allows individuals to feel they are part of the TCO family and to keep in touch with loved ones and the community.

Activities

Davidson House has a wheelchair accessible vehicle to facilitate routine travel to shopping and entertainment etc. as well as special field trips. We also encourage and support individuals with in home activities, community integration and in day programs.

Work Placements

We provide work opportunities for students in the fields of health and social services as well as job placements for participants of other social service programs.
